Learning how not to get scammed should never be a yearly subscription.
Security awareness is just content that keeps people safe. Somewhere along the way it got repackaged as enterprise software, billed by the seat and priced by fear — while the people most likely to be scammed, a parent, a grandmother, the small shop down the street, were priced out of protecting themselves.
SlackersHub is the community-built answer: an open-source security-awareness platform — training library, phishing simulation, one-click reporting, exposure tooling — built in the open and stewarded by HackersHub.

Individuals, families, and teams up to 20 get the premium tools free, forever.
Website scan, domain monitoring, OSINT exposure — free below 20 users. The paid tier is only the premium tooling for organisations above that, and it is what keeps the rest free.
( 02 ) — The model
Scale pays for the mission.
Larger organisations that can afford it fund the free tier for everyone else. That is the whole business model — social return, not seat licences.

policy
The phishing simulator sends deliberately deceptive email, which carries real legal and abuse risk. It is therefore limited to verified organisations that have proven they own the target domain — never individuals or families. Everyone still learns to recognise phishing for free; what is restricted is the ability to send it.

Open source is the guarantee, not the gimmick.

The code is open
Every line is AGPL-3.0 and fully self-hostable. Anyone — including a large organisation — can run their own instance for nothing. The software is never taken closed-source.
CC-BY-4.0
The content is open
Every training module is CC-BY-4.0: free to watch, free to share, free to reuse and translate. The library never moves behind a paywall.
